Galicia: Statement from BC CP-maoist of Galicia on the occasion of Centennial of the Great October Socialist Revolution

One hundred years of proletarian revolution.

This November 7 we celebrate with joy the centennial of the Great October Socialist Revolution.
The cruiser Aurora’s shots were a hope ray for the oppressed masses, not only from Russia, but also from all over the world, definitely changing the history, definitely opening the new era of the World Proletarian Revolution.

In the words of Chairman Mao; “The salvoes of the cannons of the October Revolution brought us Marxism-Leninism to China, so the Chinese revolution gained a new physiognomy (…) The guns of the Bolsheviks created socialism in Russia.”

Lenin and his comrades of the Bolshevik Party carried out in the Tsarist Empire the dream of Marx and Engels, establishing the first state of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat in a backward and semi-feudal country, of huge dimensions and the cradle of many peoples. The Bolsheviks led by the great Lenin and his comrades in arms, with the decisive participation of the proletarian masses, peasants, revolutionary sailors and the Red Guard, finally dislodged the bourgeois provisional government of Kerensky, proclaiming the Soviet Republic and appointing a People’s Commissars government chaired by Comrade Lenin.

It wasn’t a simple or peaceful task. It was bloody and painful as are the revolutions, as well pointed out by Comrade Lenin and Chairman Mao. The interference of the imperialist powers, united against the new Soviet Republic, in support of the White Guard and the Tsarist Admiral Kolchak, gave rise to a civil war that wasn’t definitively won until 1921.

The Red Army victory, led by heroic leaders such as Frunze, Budionni, or commissars such as Chapayev or Furmanov, crushed the counterrevolutionary forces with the support of the working and peasant masses, around the firm line drawn by Lenin of the worker-peasant alliance of the People’s Commissars government. Without such support from the masses, nothing would have been achieved.

The Dictatorship of the Proletariat, which under the fair leadership of comrade Stalin achieved to transform the vast Soviet territory -due to the planned socialist economy- into a superpower capable of facing the aggression of the first world imperialist power -the Nazi Germany- in July 1941. The

USSR, cradle and headquarters of the Communist International founded by Lenin, which expanded Marxism-Leninism all over the world and promoted the creation of communist parties.

The Great October Socialist Revolution is the patrimony of all oppressed humanity and in particular of the true communists who today hoist the three red flags of the MLM and the people’s war.
Today, we, communist women and men of Galicia, work for building the Communist Party-Maoist of Galicia following the shining path of the Great October Socialist Revolution, studying and applying the MLM to the concrete conditions of our society, while we actively work the internationalist front of solidarity and support for the people’s wars, vanguard of the World Proletarian Revolution, which are currently developing in several countries of the world; Peru, the Philippines, Turkey and in particular in India, where the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the PGLA wage a protracted people’s war that this year it turned 50 years since its beginning in Naxalbari.

These hundred years of the World Proletarian Revolution are full of advances and setbacks and much contradictions that led to define a new stage in proletarian thought; Maoism, which marked the general line to fight the revisionist restoration, its causes and the need to continue to the goal of the Revolution under the condition of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat, with Cultural Revolutions, taking as a key, as Chairman Mao pointed out, the class struggle and the Two-Line struggle.

These and other rich lessons were creatively applied in the conditions of each country by unforgettable comrades such as Charu Mazumdar in India, Ibrahim Karpakaya in Turkey, comrade JM Sison in the Philippines, comrade Pol Pot in Kampuchea and more recently by Chairman Gonzalo in Peru. By developing people’s wars and arming the masses for their release, raising a new wave of revolutions guided by the revolutionary proletariat.

Revolutionary wave that under the red flags of the Paris Commune, the Great October Socialist Revolution, the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, the People’s War in Peru and also in Naxalbari, becomes in People’s War until communism.

Long live the Great October Socialist Revolution,
shining path for release of the oppressed people of the world!
